No one can tell you exactly what the world will look like when today’s teenagers leave school — and that’s the whole point. When facts are a free, instant lookup, memorising them stops being the valuable skill. What lasts is knowing how to think, create, and direct powerful AI tools toward a real outcome.
The students who’ll thrive aren’t the ones who fear AI or lean on it to do their thinking. They’re the ones who treat it as a collaborator — who can frame a problem, make something real, and adapt fast when the tools change again next year. Those are learnable skills, and they’re learned by doing, not watching.
The goal isn’t to compete with AI. It’s to learn how to lead it.
